In 2026 Seemic established an R&D center in Wuhan, forming a dual-site layout with the headquarters in Qiantang, Hangzhou.
Wuhan is the academic and technical foundation of the founding team. With the R&D center in place, three technology lines — optical system design, algorithm modeling and precision mechanics — advance within one team: the optical R&D lead defines the instrument-level optical roadmap, metrology algorithm engineers handle metrology algorithm and model development, and precision mechanics and motion control engineers own the stage and automation flow.
The dual-site layout also keeps the company closer to university and research institute collaboration, easing joint validation on leading-edge processes.
